Bredon is a charming village close to the picturesque riverside town of Tewkesbury. It is in Bredon amongst pretty houses, some by the ancient church, others in winding lanes leading to the river banks, that visitors can find the lovely 14th century Medieval tithe barn built of mellow Cotswold stone.
The interior of the barn has an unusually wide aisle, giving it the air of a church, further to this it also has unique chimney cowling.
Beautifully restored and a joy to see, Bredon tithe barn is in the care of the National Trust, it can be found down an unmade track at the side of the church. There is a National Trust sign, but rich foliage sometimes obscures this, it is best to park and find your way to the western side of the church.
